City of Connellsville, Pennsylvania
Welcome to the City of Connellsville, located in Fayette County in Southwestern Pennsylvania along the banks of the Youghiogheny River. Originally founded as a borough on March 1, 1806, in February 1909, balloting in New Haven and Connellsville resulted in these two boroughs joining and becoming the first City on Fayette County on May 12, 1911, and currently has a population of 9,146, according to the 2000 census.

Due to popular demand, the CAHS Patriots are taking orders for the 9/11 commemorative shirts that were sold in August and September. The cost is $10.00 each. Save the DATE!!! On Sunday, March 4, 2012, come on over to the New Haven Hose Company and get your game on! Doors open at 11:30 am and the March madness of the games starts at 1:00 pm. Limited to only 80 teams, so register early and bring your best! This will be a televised event!! Cash prizes to winners along with "Special Cash Prizes." Food and refreshments will be available through New Haven. This special event benefits Connellsville Parks and Recreation. Be there or be square. Pre-register at City Hall or at New Haven the day of the event. The cost to register is $30.00 per 2-person team. Spectators welcome!!! New Haven Hose Company

Yough River Trail Council is sponsoring a 5K Walk, a 5K Run, a 10K Run and a 10 Mile Run on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Yough River Park. Registration begins at 8:30 am and the Race at 9:00 am.
