Now in its 11th Year, this one day festival along the banks of the Youghiogheny River highlights Invitational Lumberjack Competition. The day will start off with a parade to begin 11:00 am. Starting on the South Side and coming to S. Pittsburgh Street, making the turn onto Crawford Avenue over the bridge. Lumberjack competitions feature the Hot Saw, Jack & Jill, Underhand, Two Man Crosscut, Springboard, Standing Chop and Modified Chain Saw. You've seen it on ESPN, now experience it first hand in-person. Other features of the day include food and crafts booths, kids' games, live music and a car cruise.
The Fourth of July Fireworks have been re-scheduled for August 30th at Timber Days at dusk on August 30, 2008, between 8:15 pm and 8:30 pm. Come for the fun and stay for the evening fireworks!
